Welcome to my blog! INKspiration: Crafts by Lucy Victoria.

CRAFTOLOGY: Study and experimentation of all things crafty

I have decided over that last few days that I am a craftologist, if such a thing exists -and if not -one does now. ME. I used to study and teach biology and thus was a biologist. Now I love to study craft techniques and teach my love of creation and imagination through craft workshops so why not be a craftologist!?

If I imagine something -why not make it? And if you can make it, why not share it- right? Why keep all that colour and texture all to yourself. Whether that colour and texture and depth comes from paper, card, ribbon, paint, wool, clay whatever the medium -imagine it, create it , share it. Escape to a world where everything imagined is everything handmade. And there it is. The world where I live.

That world of imagination can become a reality. Something that once was a dream,  thought can be captured, and made and become. That's craft. The time for you to escape and just be. To relax, to be mindful and indulge yourself for some YOU time.

Who wouldn't want a slice of that! Whether you deem yourself crafty or not....with the right guidance and advice you too can find that craftological centre of your being and be transported into a decadent world of creation -come,  join me...stay for a while....walk with me....catch a glimpse of the gorgeous world of handmade wonder x

So Happy this is in the New Catalogue!

I'm so HAPPY this in the NEW CATALOGUE The annual catalogue is now live and it is so exciting. It is full to bursting with gorgeous products. A new in colour range and some amazing new products and stamp sets which I just LOVE and can't wait to get my hands one. Of course, there are some products that I am so happy that they are in the new catalogue. As I am waiting on my order of new items to arrive (I just couldn't decide what I wanted first), I have based my blog hop contribution today on things that I am so happy that they are staying. I have chosen a few stamp sets (there are so many) that I really love using. First up.... Beautiful You meets Sheltering Tree. Beautiful You is a gorgeous photopolymer stamp set introduced in the spring/summer catalogue from Stampin' Up and it remains with us in the new 2017/2018 annual catalogue. YEAH. It was behind the inspiration for a project I made a little while ago. I combined the Beautiful You set wit
