Hearts not just for Valentines...

Good Morning!
Welcome to the Jems Blog Hop -Hearts not just for Valentines...except mine are :-)
Here are some photos of some the projects I made using the products from the Sending Love Suite -I really love the bold designs mixed in with the traditional colours of this suite.

The first project is a card front I made using products from the sending love suite only. The base is whisper white card stock, real red card on top, cut with the 'heart' edge framelit. Then the card front is built up using the triple banner punch and the DSP stack. Real red and crumb cake inks were used to stamp onto whisper white card and linen thread was used to thread through the heart to finish off the card front. I wanted to show off as many different combinations of the DSP with these card fronts and highlight just how amazingly well the products coordinate.

Some of the products from the Sending Love Suite...from the Spring/Summer Catalogue (don't forget for every £45 pounds you spend during SALE-A-BRATION time  (SAB) 4th Jan -31st March 2017 -you get to choose a free product from the SAB brochure!)

And in preparation for Valentines Day, here are the projects we'll be making at my Valentine's classes using the sending loves suite,  plus sunshine wishes thinlits (from the annual catalogue).

The card we made...

a tiny love note on which a personalised message was written...
we stamped a glassine bag with crumb cake hearts and in here went a delicious bar of chocolate -yum. (the heart on the tag is from the inside of the heart die used on the card form the sunshine wishes thinlits and the heart punch used to create the three hearts on the right hand side is a retired heart punch -but you could just as easily use the die from the love note framelits).

The word 'love' got 'wink of stella-ed' to give it some sparkle.
I hope that you have enjoyed today's makes and that you enjoy the rest of the Jem's blog hop. I hope that you are INKspired by what you see.
Best wishes and I look forward to seeing you again soon,
Lucy

So Happy this is in the New Catalogue!

I'm so HAPPY this in the NEW CATALOGUE The annual catalogue is now live and it is so exciting. It is full to bursting with gorgeous products. A new in colour range and some amazing new products and stamp sets which I just LOVE and can't wait to get my hands one. Of course, there are some products that I am so happy that they are in the new catalogue. As I am waiting on my order of new items to arrive (I just couldn't decide what I wanted first), I have based my blog hop contribution today on things that I am so happy that they are staying. I have chosen a few stamp sets (there are so many) that I really love using. First up.... Beautiful You meets Sheltering Tree. Beautiful You is a gorgeous photopolymer stamp set introduced in the spring/summer catalogue from Stampin' Up and it remains with us in the new 2017/2018 annual catalogue. YEAH. It was behind the inspiration for a project I made a little while ago. I combined the Beautiful You set wit
